| Basic | A basic gallery is the default gallery type. It allows user to upload media and view approved media. |
| Drop | A drop gallery is similar to a basic gallery with the exception that it is purely for dropping media and not viewing it. In a drop gallery the uploader can only see the media they have uploaded and not media uploaded by other users. |
| Collection | A collection is a gathering of Basic and Drop galleries. All media from the connected galleries is displayed in a single place. For example, if you have an anual event yoou can have a gallery per year and a collection to allow users to view all years in a single place. |
